NAFTD Award for Excellence in Fire Training Leadership

The NAFTD Award for Excellence in Fire Training Leadership, presented in partnership with Vector Solutions, recognizes individuals whose leadership, innovation, and sustained service have significantly advanced fire service training and education.

This prestigious award honors exceptional contributions that have strengthened firefighter preparedness, enhanced professional qualifications, improved training systems, and advanced the fire training profession at the state, provincial, territorial, national, or international level.

To preserve the integrity and distinction of the award, it is presented only when a nominee meets the high standard of excellence established by NAFTD. As such, the award may not be presented every year.

Recipients are selected by a three-member committee appointed by the NAFTD President through a rigorous evaluation process based on demonstrated leadership, measurable impact, innovation, mentorship, and lasting contributions to the fire service training community.

The NAFTD Award for Excellence in Fire Training Leadership represents the organization's highest professional honors, celebrating those whose work has made a lasting difference in preparing firefighters and strengthening the fire service across North America.
